Bobby was born on November 9, 1955 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He passed away on June 27, 2023 on his way home from the mountains.
As young boy, Bobby was taken in by Clara Saunders where he was loved in a Christian home. From a young age he was care taker and helped take care of his brother. Then, he started working hard on the farm in Dry Creek, LA. After that, he started working at the young age of 17 for Brown & Root as a laborer. At the age of 18 he met the love of his life and they spent the next 47 years building a family of three wonderful children, two handsome grandsons, and was proud of his son in laws. He continued to work hard and provide the best for his family. As the years went on, he slowly moved up in his career where he retired from Alliance Industrial Group at the age of 66 as a Sr Construction Manager.
He had love for traveling to the Smoky Mountains, spending time at the lake where he recently pulled his grandsons with his new pontoon boat, drinking his Community Coffee with 1 ½
teaspoons of sugar on the back-porch, but most of all he LOVED his FAMILY and we loved him.
He is preceded in death by his mom & dad, Selby & Clara Saunders; son, Derick Brown; siblings, Glen Brown, Reggie Saunders, Jimmy Saunders and Melba Knoblauch and nephew, Scott Brown.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years, Janie Brown of Anacoco; daughters, Kristy Johnson & husband, Jason of Sugartown and Kayla Dunn & husband, Michael of Frierson; grandchildren, Landon Dunn and Parker Dunn; his fur babies, Nieko and Sadie G. and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
