Riley Wilson "Dub" Bailey's Obituary
Funeral services for Riley Wilson “Dub” Bailey, 84, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Hicks First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Greg Mortensen and Rev. Randy Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. - 10 p.m., Friday, March 30th, at the church.
Riley, the son of George Wilson and Bessie Mae Smith Bailey was born August 17, 1927, in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. He passed away Wednesday, March 28th, at his daughter’s residence in Elmer, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Bailey was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. He worked as a contractor. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of Hicks First United Pentecostal Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rose Mary Bailey of Leesville; son, James Wilson Bailey of Leesville; daughters, Mary Ann Newcomb of Boyce & Sabrinia Cedars of Elmer; brother, Wilford Bailey of Mississippi; eight grandchildren & 1 great grandchild.
