Funeral services for Riley F. Clark, Jr., 75 of DeRidder, Louisiana will be held at 1 P.M., Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in DeRidder with Dr. Rod Smith and Rev. Alan Knuckles officiating. Burial with Read Obituary

My brother Alton, my sister June Carol and I send our condolences to Riley Jr.'s family. We moved to Lake Charles, La about 50 years ago and lived next door to Uncle Riley Sr. for a few years.\r\n\r\nI always enjoyed visiting with them at the Honeycutt family reunions.\r\n\r\nRiley Jr. and Fran were very kind to my parents. Fran always brought my Dad a big bowl of her famous chicken and dumplings every time they came to Lake Charles. Mom and Dad always talked about how my they enjoyed Riley Jr.'s visits.\r\n\r\nWe will always have our memories of Riley Jr. and have his family in our prayers.\r\n\r\nSandra (Sandy) Honeycutt Roberts

We were high school classmates of Riley. Though we haven't had much contact with him over the intervening years, we were reflecting this morning on the Riley we remember from our high school years and the times our paths crossed at class reunions.\r\n\r\nWe remember a gentle, caring, accepting person who was a very good student. We want to express our sorrow to Frann and Riley's entire family. May God's great gifts of peace and comfort surround and sustain them in these days sadness and grief, even as they celebrate Riley's life.
