Richard Michael Miller's Obituary
Graveside services for Mr. Richard Michael Miller, 72, of Leesville, will be held on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville with Bro. Michael Goins officiating.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Mr. Miller was born on October 13, 1948 in Hornell, New York to his parents, Thurman and Anna Mae Swartz Miller. He passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 in the Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
Richard served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years for civil service at Fort Polk. He was always willing to help and giving to people. He enjoyed everything Disney to include movies and trips to Disney World. He was an avid coin collector and in his spare time enjoyed hunting. One of his favorite things was his “burnt pizzas” from Fox’s in Leesville.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Carolyn Miller of Leesville; One Son: Richard Miller, JR. and his wife Shoko of California; Two Brothers: Craig Miller and Larry Miller both of New York; Two Sisters: Linda Miller of New York and Tina Szymanak of Ohio; Two Grandchildren: Alena Miller and Tony Miller both of California.
