Richard L. Fee's Obituary
Richard Fee, 65, entered peacefully into rest at his home in Pitkin, Louisiana on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Richard was born on June 15, 1959 in Elizabeth, Louisiana.
Richard was a man of unwavering kindness and boundless love for his family and left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He loved the outdoors from hunting to fishing to growing a garden, which would grow bigger and bigger each year. His love for nature extended to just sitting on his porch enjoying quiet moments reflecting, or possibly lively conversations with his loved ones. He was a master carpenter by trade, but also delighted in cooking. He had a generous spirit and a natural ability to bring people together and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone. However, above all else, his greatest joy was his family. Richard cherished his role as a doting grandfather, delighting in every moment spent with his grandchildren and making memories that they will carry with them forever.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Gloria Fee of 46 years of Pitkin, LA, children, Amy Litwiller and husband Vaughn of DeRidder, LA, Justin Johnson (son-in-love) of Arkansas and sister Michelle Stokes of Hineston, LA, grandchildren Easton Jude Litwiller and Everlie Jade Litwiller along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his loved ones, mother, Gracie Fee Brack, brothers Jason Brack and Bryan Moon and sister, Melinda Simmons.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are: Kenny Kirkpatrick, Pat Dillon, Larry Presley, Danny Fee, Justin Johnson, and John Poe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5PM – 8PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
