Rebecca "Becky" Schwartz Nichols' Obituary
Memorial services for Rebecca “Becky” Schwartz Nichols, 72, of DeRidder will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 10 am at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, with Deacon Al Weinnig officiating, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Becky, the daughter of Maurice and Ruby Lee Pearson Schwartz was born on August 24, 1944 in Many, Louisiana. Becky was a resident of Leesville prior to moving to DeRidder. She passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017, in Lake Charles, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald L. “Ronny” Nichols of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Robin Horton (David) of Anacoco, LA, Lynde Ulmer (Todd) of Baton Rouge, LA, Jennifer Templet (Paul) of Lake Charles, LA, Rene Coody (Tom) of DeRidder, LA; brother, David Schwartz of Foley, Al, nephew, Kevin Schwartz (Whitney) of Austin, TX; niece; Krista Schwartz Gronniger (Shane) of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Shanna Perkins Dickens (Murray) of Lafayette, Lorianna Perkins of Leesville, LA, Braden Ulmer of Baton Rouge, LA, Addison Templet of Lake Charles, LA, Bradley Ulmer of Baton Rouge, LA, Landon Templet of Lake Charles, LA, Barrett Coody of DeRidder, LA, Braxton Coody of DeRidder, LA.
Becky passed away peacefully in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital surrounded by family and friends.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a retired secretary from Beauregard Parish School Board, and a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in DeRidder.
Honored to serve as Pallbears will be David Horton, Todd Ulmer, David Schwartz, Kevin Schwartz, Tom Coody, Paul Templet and John Nichols.
