Realious Roy Moreau, Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for Realious Roy Moreau, Sr., 57, of Dry Creek, LA, will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016, at Cherry Grove Baptist Church, Mittie, LA, with Rev. Ron Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery, Dry Creek, LA. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2016, from 8 pm until service time, Thursday, August 25th all at the church. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
Mr. Moreau passed away Monday, August 22, 2016, in DeRidder, LA, from injuries received in a motorcycle/car accident. He was born May 8, 1959 the son of Lee Roy and Janis Clutiel Johnson Moreau in Kinder, LA, he grew up in Doodle Fork, LA and was a graduate of Fairview High School in Grant, LA. He was a self-employed mechanic and loved riding motorcycles and jogging.
He was a loving husband, daddy and grandfather. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of thirty-three years, Ethel "Becky" Moreau of Dry Creek, LA; two sons, Realious Roy Moreau, Jr. and Joseph W. Moreau, both of Dry Creek; daughter, Rebecca E. Moreau of Cottonwood, LA; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Reagan of Dry Creek; two brothers, Lamar Moreau of Oberlin, LA, and Kerwin Moreau of Jennings, LA; two sisters, Delores Holden of Doodle Fork and Janet J. Hill of Dry Creek; his mother, Janie Moreau of Doodle Fork; two grandchildren, John Lawrence Moreau and Joshua Dane Moreau.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Moreau and brother, Lance Moreau.
