Graveside services for Mr. Rayford Walker, 80, of Lake Charles will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville. Rev. Edgar Evans will officiate.
Rayford was born on November 29, 1941 in Leesville to his parents Asa & Drucilla Speaks Walker. He passed away on December 4, 2021 in the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 6 brothers, Jack Walker, Paul Walker, Jimmy Walker, Lee Vernon Walker, Marlon Walker, and William A. Walker; 3 sisters, Annie Pearl Buchanan, Dru Evelyn Burns, and Lucy Ann Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Melissa Walker of Lake Charles, LA.; Two Sisters, Emily Fletcher, and Jimmie Ruth Muse; Two Brothers, Joe E. Walker and Warren A. Walker; and a host of nieces and nephews.
