Randy Smith, 35, of Evans, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at his home. Randy, the son of the late Randal and Sylvia Jeane Smith was born on May 13, 1986 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Graveside Service will be Friday, August 13, 2021, 10:00 AM, at the Evans Cemetery in Evans, LA with Rev. Todd Egan officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at the cemetery. Funeral services under the care and direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
Randy, sometimes known as “Ol Mack daddy”, was a man that loved the country life who loved to fish and hunt. There is many a time that he has spent time in the woods with his family, especially his nephews and nieces as they killed their first deer or caught their first fish. He loved trips down dirt roads. He was an avid guitar player and enjoyed singing with his family and friends. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with family especially his kids. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Sylvia Smith of Evans, LA; 2 sons, Payton Mack Smith and Ryder Smith; 2 daughters, Libby Smith and Grace Dozar; 2 brothers, Kennis Smith and wife Sandy of Singer, LA and Wesley Smith of Evans, LA; 3 sisters Carla Walker and husband Curd of Evans, LA, Randa Smith and husband Dirk of Evans, LA, and Helen Smith of Evans, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by his father, Randal Smith; brother, Brandon Smith; and sister, Stephanie Smith Garcia.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Nathan Jeane, Randal Jeane, Jamie Maddox, Randal Flowers, Tony Garcia, and Chris Smith.
Those honored to serve as honorary pallbearers are Brendon Whipkey, Carey Whipkey, Paul Smith, Randy Jeane, and Jessy Smith.
