Ramona Kay Brown's Obituary
Funeral services for Ramona Kay Brown, 58, of Leesville will be held Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at 10 am at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Monday, July 17, 2017, from 1 pm until 9 pm at the funeral home.
Ramona, the daughter of Melvin Ray Westmoreland and Quinta Lee Kay, was born on May 31, 1959 in Leesville, Louisiana. She passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Ray Westmoreland, daughter, Shannon Potter and brother, Joseph Westmoreland.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Leesville, she returned in 1996 and has lived here ever since. She was a homemaker and loved working in her yard and taking care of her animals, especially Rascal. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Roy Brown of Leesville; sons, Donald Potter, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Gonzales, LA., and Dennis Potter of Leesville, LA; daughter, Debra Potter of DeRidder; mother, Quinta Goins of Leesville; sister, Rosie Whalen (Jackie)) of Pensacola, FL; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
