Rae touched many lives including mine. I counted it a privilege and honor to be able to work with Raemon Strickland during our time at the Central Louisiana Red Cross.
Had the pleasure of knowing and working with this gentleman. He did lots of good and he will be missed.
My condolence goes out to the family. I met Mr. Strickland at dialysis . He was such a strong and funny guy. We both were Veterans and talked a lot. He was a great mentor and friend. Always used comedy to deal with tragedy. I will miss u Sir. Old Soldiers they dont die, they just fade away

You had a heart of gold and could definitely make everyone smile. Im so glad I got the opportunity to know you. You are gone to soon but I know you are in a better place! Until we all meet again. Spread your wings and fly high.
