Perry Gremillion's Obituary
A celebration of life for Perry Anthony Gremillion will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Leesville with Bro. Craig Forque officiating.
Perry Anthony Gremillion, a bondservant of the Lord Jesus Christ, passed from this life into eternity on August 4th, 2020. He was born July 19, 1955 to Anthony and Pearl Desoto Gremillion in Cottonport, LA.
Perry was a devout Christian who loved to study God’s word and to use his many musical talents to praise Him. He had a gift of teaching, where he taught Sunday school and Precept Bible studies for many years. He mentored many men in business, and while doing so shared how his walk with the Lord influenced his business and his life.
Perry loved to do woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was an active member of the Gideons, and gave freely to his community. His love for people was evident in his business, Gremillion Appliance Repair Service, where he served the needs of families in the Vernon, Sabine and Beauregard parish area. He was recently honored in January by the United Appliance Services Association with the national award Most Professional Servicer of the Year for his business size.
Perry is proceeded in death by his parents, and left to cherish his memory Patricia Ducote Gremillion and daughter Abigail Gremillion of Leesville; brother Mark Gremillion of Jackson MS; sister Patricia Gremillion Bergeron and her husband David of Southlake, TX; brother and sister in law Keteral and Lillie Ducote of Cottonport, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
