Peggy Jean Sellers' Obituary
Funeral services for Peggy Jean Sellers, 70, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Joey Rudisill officiating. Burial will follow in the Craft Cemetery in Leesville, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 4 pm - 9 pm, Friday, November 11, 2011, and Saturday, November 12th from 8 am until time of service at the funeral home.
Peggy, the daughter of John Albert and Mazie Marie Salard DeLacerda was born on May 8, 1941, in Chopin, Louisiana. She passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. Born in Chopin, Louisiana, she was a resident of Anacoco and Vernon Parish for most of her life. Mrs. Sellers was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. She was a longtime member of Cold Springs Homemakers Clubs. She loved genealogy, gardening and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Bruce Sellers of Anacoco, LA; sons, Keith Allison & wife Cindy of Pickering, LA & Mike Sellers & wife Tammy of Gardener, LA; daughters, Sonia Hyatt & husband Donald of Pickering, LA & Georgette Courtney & husband Archie of Richlands, NC; brother, Dale DeLacerda of Simpson, LA; sisters, Emily Sellers of Anacoco, LA, Trina Hall of Crocker, MO & Debra Ellzey of Simpson, LA; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
