Pauline Bryant Melberg's Obituary
Funeral services for Pauline Bryant Melberg, 56, of New Llano, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, March 25, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Bro. Lynn Cooley officiating. Burial will follow in the Glass Window Cemetery in Slagle.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 6:00 – 10:00 P.M., Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 9 A.M.-10:00 P.M and Monday, March 25, 2019 from 8:00 A. M. until the time of service, in the funeral home.
Pauline was born on March 27, 1962 in Leesville, Louisiana to her parents, William and Gladys Waggoner Bryant. She passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 in her home.
She loved being a CNA and did it for over 20 years. Pauline was a caretaker at heart; she loved elderly people and animals. She participated in and supported her nieces and nephews in all of their sports and academic pursuits. Family was first to Pauline and she was a mother to all; she was an excellent cook and always made it her mission to feed everyone.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, husband; Anthony Reed, son; Anthony Reed Jr.
brothers; Lester Bryant and Manuel Waggoner, sisters; Josephine Yeager, Carla Bryant, Rose Marie Bryant.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters; Mary Bryant, Marie Dalton and husband Michael all of New Llano, LA. brothers; W. T Bryant, James Bryant and wife Shirley all of New Llano, Leslie Bryant and wife Judy of Orange, TX. Palmer Johnson and wife Marlene of Eros, LA.; 3 “babies” BoBo, Little Red, and Blondie, 12 nieces, 8 nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews.
Those honored to serve as pall-bears are Charles Kay Jr., Samuel Dalton, Jodi Dalton, William “Willie” Bryant, Tomas “Tommy” Bryant and Waylon Bryant.
