Paul Kay's Obituary
Funeral services for Paul Kay, of Burr Ferry, LA will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, September 5th at the Freedom Rest Baptist Church in Burr Ferry with James Kay officiating. The burial will follow in the Plunkaway Cemetery in Burr Ferry. Friends may visit Friday, September 4th from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the church, Saturday, September 5th.
Paul was born in Leesville July 16, 1955 and passed away on September 3, 2009 at the Byrd Regional Hospital at the age 54.
He worked in construction as a pile driver building bridges. He loved to sing and BBQ with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Marie Hall Kay
He is survived by his father, Vergial Prentice Kay of Burr Ferry; son, Michael Paul Kay of Colorado; sisters; Ruth Nesom of Channelview, TX, Joy Smith and Sara Kay both of Burr Ferry, LA and 2 grandchildren.
