Paul Thomas Adkison's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Paul Thomas Adkison, 79, of Anacoco will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Larry White and Rev. Jimmy Speight officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at the Cold Springs Cemetery in Anacoco.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 4:00 p.m until 10:00 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
Mr. Adkison was born on February 1, 1940 in Truman Arkansas to his parents Orin and Mary Johnson Adkison. He passed away on Monday March 18, 2019 in Leesville.
He served his country for over 20 years in the United States Army. He was a member of Gandy Baptist Church in Florien, La. He was a very generous man, who would do anything he could to help anybody. Even when he couldn’t help physically, he would support financially. He was a big supporter of missions, especially in the Phillipines, where a road that leads to a mission will be named in his honor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.
He is survived by his wife Linda Adkison; His Children: Stacey, Mishael, Steve, and Joey; One Brother: Hershel; One Sister and Brother in law: Joy & William; Seven Grandchildren: Rebecca, Tristan, Brayden, Melody, Joshua, Crystal, Joey Jr., and Valerie; Four Great Grandchildren: Emmett, Russell, Delilah, and Kaylee.
