Patsy Mae Freeman's Obituary
Patsy (Pat) Mae Frazier, Aikens, Freeman was born September 21, 1939 too her late parents Edward and Cleo Frazier. She departed this life on the evening of May 24, 2025 after several years of sickness. She spent her earlier years in Springfield, Louisiana attending the local school.
She spent her later teen and earlier adult years in Trenton, New Jersey and later returned to Louisiana after marrying Claud. They were blessed with 52 years of mostly blissful matrimony.
Pat had three children Edward Timothy, LaTonya Yvette (both who preceded her in death) and Glenn Bryan who is still living.
She is survived by her husband Claud, son Glenn Bryan (Gretchen), 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, a host of friends, church family (all of who loved and cherished her very much).
She was the oldest of 2 brothers and 2 sisters, all of them preceding her in death.
Pat was a people person who met no strangers. Pat spent her working years as a nursing assistant and child caregiver starting at the day care center at Fort Johnson (formerly Fort Polk) and later in her home. She provided the utmost of quality care to all of her clients.
She served her Lord and Savior in a number of capacities at the Deridder and Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Churches namely as Head Deaconess, Sabbath School Superintendent and Sabbath School Teacher, Personal Ministries Secretary and was always ready to assist with other needs of the church.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
