Patricia L. "Trisha" Brister's Obituary
Funeral services for Patricia L. “Trisha” Brister, 66, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating with the burial to follow in the Canaan Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm, Friday, February 24th and Saturday, February 25th from 9:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
Trisha, the daughter of Charlie H. and Iva Beatrice Anderson Hankins was born November 10, 1945, in Glendale, Arkansas. She passed away Thursday, February 23rd
at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry D. Brister; brother, Charlie M. Hankins and sisters, Edna Farley, Mary Ann Heller, & Lizzie Bell McKinney.
She survived by her daughters, Stephanie Burrow & her husband Randall of Rosepine and Gina Alcala-Parker & husband, Ryan of Dallas, TX; son, Rodney A. Brister of Leesville & Jack Kealaula of Leesville; brothers, Lee Hankins of Glendale AR, Tom Hankins of Rison, AR & Vernon Hankins of Woodlawn, AR and grandchildren, Kimber Kealaula, Taylor Licare, James Parker & Cory Kealaula.
In Lieu of Flowers the family requests that donations be made to Lung Cancer Research at the American Cancer Society.
