Patricia Ilene Busby Tarver's Obituary
Patricia Ilene Busby Tarver was born on March 28, 1944, to the union of Garwood and Melvie Harper Busby.  Patricia 81, entered eternal rest on November 2, 2025, in the comfort of her home in LaCamp, LA.
 
She attended and graduated Hicks High School in 1962, where she met the love of her life Lowell Tarver.  Together by one another’s side for 63 years the built their home and raised five children in LaCamp, LA.
 
Mrs. Pat, known to all her family and friends loved her children and grandchildren.  She would sit for hours crocheting and sewing special gifts for them to cherish.  She owned and operated her own restaurant for years in LaCamp where everyone loved her cooking. 
 
She looked forward to fishing trips and canning all the fresh vegetables her and Lowell grew.  She looked forward to attending Church and loved her church family. 
 
The holidays was always her favorite because all her family would be with her and she took great joy and pride in cooking big meals for them to enjoy.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, Garwood and Melvie Busby; brother, Gary Busby; sister, Beatrice Thompson and great grandbabies, Colten L. Wellman “AKA Squirrel”, Lil. Harold Copeland and Olivia Moore.
 
Those left to cherish her memory is her husband of 63 years Lowell O. Tarver; son, Morgan and (Nancy) Tarver of LaCamp; daughter, Debbie and (Craig) Weatherford of Glenmora; son, Gordon and (Sherry) Tarver of LaCamp; daughter, Kimberly Tarver of Leandor; daughter, Trudy “Roxie and (James “Mann”) Pelt of LaCamp; 14 grandkids and 17 great grandkids.
 
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Laurel Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Dustin Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in LaCamp. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the church. 
 
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Gordon Tarver, Bradley Pelt, Jay Thacker, T. J. Pickering, Bud Tarver and Mann Pelt.
