Patricia “Pat” Ann Edmondson Clark entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at the age of 87 years, 2 months and 6 days, at the Beauregard Health System with her family by her side. Pat was born on Friday, December 21, 1934, in Pollock, LA to Phillip and Pearl Foster Edmondson.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00 AM in the Labby Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Lynn Clayton officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Pat was a woman of faith and enjoyed going to church. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She worked as a medical clerk at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital for many years until her retirement.
Pat loved her flower garden and loved making her home look beautiful both inside and out. When she was not working in her yard or her home, she would be found in the kitchen cooking up some wonderful dishes, or she could be found with her loving dogs. She was loved by many people and will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, David Alan DeJean and wife Karen of Richland Hills, TX, Janet DeJean Blackburn and husband Jim of Corsicana, TX, and John Fernand DeJean of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one niece, one nephew, and a host of extended relatives.
Preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Pearl Edmondson; one brother Billy Edmondson.
