Funeral services for Mrs. P. Karolyne Cooley Ashfield,62 of Deridder, La. will be held on Monday August 6 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Kite officiating. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery in Slagle, La.
Visitation will be held Sunday August, 5, 2007 4:00 – 9:00p.m. Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mrs. Ashfield passed away Friday August 3, 2007 at her residence in DeRidder, La.
Karolyne was born and raised in Slagle, La. She attended Simpson School until her sophomore year when she started and graduated from Leesville High School in 1963. She was attending North Western University when she met Jimmy. Jimmy joined the military and together they started a family and toured the world. Karolyne loved her family and friends and loved to travel.
She is Survived by:
Husband of 42 years James D. Ashfield Sr.
Son James David Ashfield Jr.
