Oscar Reeks' Obituary
Funeral services for Oscar Ronald “Dee Dee” Reeks, 58 of New Llano, LA will be Friday, August 8th at 10:00 AM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Brother Irby Perkins, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in Stephens Cemetery in Leesville. Service are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00PM on Thursday, August 7th in the funeral home.
Dee Dee passed away Tuesday, August 5th at his residence . He is a lifelong residence of Vernon Parish. He retired from the Merchant Marines and was also a butcher at Big Star and Stanley Grocery stores in Leesville. He was a member of the Jackson Chapel Church of God. He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Earl Reeks, Mother Middie Reeks King, Step father James King and brothers, Russell and Mason Reeks.
Survived by his sons; Williams Reeks of Woodward, OK and Jason Reeks of Leesville; daughter, Sonja Scott of New Llano; Brother, Kenneth Reeks of Leesville and sister, Dixie Turner of Leesville; Ten Grandchildren and one great grandchild.
