Ocie Maud Fountain Bush Klein, age 99 years, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013. She was born September 15, 1914, in the Caney community of Vernon Parish; the third of four children of Rev. James O. Fountain and Ocie Westmoreland Fountain. She lived in Burr Ferry all her life. Maud was a lifelong member of Pine Hill Baptist Church and Orange Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

She loved watching her grandchildren play sports and was an avid supporter of the Evans Eagles Basketball Team, where she had her own special seat in the bleachers.
We all loved going to her house for the holidays and Sunday dinners where she lovingly prepared her delicious meals. We especially loved her chicken and dumplings!
We will mourn our loss but cherish our memories, and we would like to thank everyone who supported us with your prayers and concern during this difficult time.?
Mrs. Klein is survived by her son, Donald Bush and his wife, Nelwyn of Pickering, daughter, Doris Peavy and husband Herbert of Burr Ferry, and sister, Evie Jane Fisher of Port Arthur, Texas; 7 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
