Funeral services for Norwood C Furlow, JR will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Mr. Furlow was born on December 23, 1939. He passed away peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Rapides General Hospital in Alexandria, LA.
Norwood was known to his family and friends as “J.R.” He resided in Anacoco on Vernon Lake and loved to fish. “J.R.” was an animal lover and spent his free time caring for his dogs, cats, chickens and goat.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son.
He is survived by his wife of 20 + years: Linda Furlow of Lafayette, LA; Sister: Hazel Mosely of Livingston Parish; 2 Step Children: Jason Robichaux and Kelly Prejean; and 2 Step Grandchildren; Bryce Prejean and Gavin Robichaux.
