Norma Aileen Wagnon's Obituary
Funeral services for Norma Aileen Jones Wagnon, 99, of Longville, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Longville Baptist Church in Longville, LA, with Bro. Corey Townsley officiating. Burial will follow in Dry Creek Cemetery in Dry Creek, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will be at Longville Baptist Church from 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 25, 2026 until time of the service. Mrs. Wagnon passed away Friday, April 24, 2026. Born July 7, 1926, in Memphis, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Edward and Myrtis Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Longville and a member of Longville Baptist Church since 1964. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 232 with 31 years of service and dedication.
She is survived by six grandchildren: Jennifer Parker Dubose, Jason Parker, Joni Burmeister Green Farler, Kris Burmeister, Janelle Marcum, and Stacy Marcum as well as her nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Myrtis Jones; her husband, S.A. “Sam” Wagnon, Jr.; two siblings, Dorthey Jones Reisinger, and Eddie Ross Jones; her three children: Carl John Burmeister, Jr., Delores Wagnon Parker, and Debra Wagnon Marcum; and one granddaughter, Cori G
