Funeral services for Nelta Ruth Kay, 72, of Burr Ferry will be Saturday, November 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Freedom Rest Baptist Church in Burr Ferry, with Rev. Malcolm Jeane and Rev. James Kay will officiate. The burial will follow in Read Obituary

To all her family, our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Growing up and riding the bus with her two small boys, she was always the sweetest person when we met. Then I married a distant cousin. Even though we didn't visit much, her light was shining through every time we ran into each other. My mother-in-law, Katie O'Banion Bartlett, sure thought a lot of her.
