Nelda R Turner's Obituary
Funeral service for Mrs. Nelda R. Turner will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Anacoco. Burial will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Anacoco.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20th until service time Thursday in the Church.
Nelda was born on July 18, 1939 in Natchitoches, LA. She entered her eternal home on Monday, November 18, 2019 in Lake Charles, surrounded by her loving family. Nelda embraced life and had such an open heart and willingness to love unconditionally. She loved her family so much, and her favorite times were when she was surrounded by them. She was a lady who had a colorful personality and sense of humor. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.
Nelda was preceded in death by her parents: J.C. & Maude Stoker Thomason; Her Husband: Allen Dale Turner; Two Brothers: Gene & Edward Thomason.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Calvin & Melinda Turner of Anacoco, LA, and Lisa & Bruce Aycock of Moss Bluff, LA; One Brother: Tom Thomason of Dixon, MO; Four Sisters: Pat Brooks of Leesville, Carol Hawthorne of Baton Rouge, Jonnie Thomas of Anacoco, and Linda Thomason of Leesville; Six Grandchildren: Lesley DeVille, Tye Turner, Trey Aycock, Callee Turner, Morgan Carroll, and Marlee Davis; Two Great Grandchildren: Dax Allen DeVille, and Reid Carroll; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.
