Myrtle June McClain Peecher's Obituary
Graveside Services for Myrtle “June” McClain Peecher will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Old Anacoco Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Chance officiating.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Old Anacoco Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
June was born on April 4, 1928 to her parents Raymond Richard DeHart and Evie Marie DeHart in Bryan, TX. She passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 in Leesville, LA.
June is preceded in death by: parents, Raymond Richard DeHart and Evie Marie DeHart, Husband, Robert F McClain Jr., Sons, Danny Ray McClain and Archie Lee McClain and grandchild, Daniel McClain.
June was a housewife for many years and the best mother we could have had, she loved and cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially her plants and flowers and she loved to fish. She volunteered at Helping Hands for many years, and enjoyed being a member of the Eastern Star and had a passion for helping out at her church, Old Anacoco Baptist.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband: Carl Peecher, Sons: Bobby McClain and wife Elaine, Larry Joe McClain and wife Estella, Daughter in Law: Shelly McClain, Step daughters: Karla Gouthiere and husband Robert and Monica Matthews, Grandchildren: Holly McClain, Samantha Green, Jennifer Hahn, Caren McClain, Jonathon McClain and Jeremy McClain, Step Grandchildren: Angelique Crisan, Malachi Avila, Eric Ezell, Amanda Stroope, Sabrina Smith, Stacie Holland, Dennis Holt, Ryan Holt and Nikole Holt and 21 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: Raymond (Bubba) DeHart and HOward DeHart, Sisters: Shirley Vytopil and husband Joe, Betty Hubacek and Huns=band Ed, Ginger Thomas and husband Don and a host of nieces and nephews.
