Mose "Penny" Tyler's Obituary
Funeral services for Mose “Penny” Tyler, 56, of Leesville, will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Rev. Jerry Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Memorial Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service in the funeral home.
Mose “Penny” Tyler was born on March 29, 1963 in Pineville, LA., to the late Mose Clark and Eula Tyler Jones. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age at Ellen Burr Baptist Church and was baptized by Rev. C. S. Keyes.
Mose attended schools in Vernon Parish. He worked construction for several years and also worked for Sam Fertitta Jr. for several years, when Mose couldn’t call on no one else Sam, Jr. was always there.
Mose was loved by family and friends. But on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, the Lord called him home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mose Clark and Eula Tyler Jones; and 3 brothers, Edward Jones, Joseph Clark, and Percy Clark, 1 sister, Mary Ann Clark. He is survived by 5 sisters, Patsy Robertson of Leesville, LA., Barbara Long of Buffalo, NY., Virgle Jones of New Llano, LA., Diane Clark of Leesville, LA., & Agnes Clark of Houston, TX., 4 brothers; Austin Tyler (Bernadette) of Buffalo, NY., Joe Richard Jones of Leesville, LA., Rev. Jerry Clark (Chris) of Leesville, LA., & Ronald Clark of Leesville, LA., 3 aunts, Mary Woods, Mary Tyler & Teresa Hicks, all of Houston, TX., 1 uncle, Alfred Tyler of Tampa, FL., boss/brother; Sam Fertitta Jr. and a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends
