Morgan E. Wellman's Obituary
Funeral services for Morgan E. Wellman, 81, of, LaCamp will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2012, at Laurel Hill Baptist Church in LaCamp with Bro. Joe Wellman & Bro. Joseph Merchant officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery in LaCamp, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at the funeral home and on Thursday, February 2, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Morgan, the son of Willie & Emma Bedgood Wellman was born on March 10, 1930, in LaCamp, Louisiana. He passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at his residence in LaCamp, LA. Mr. Wellman worked as a vehicle inspector. He loved to garden and fish; but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Wellman.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Wellman; son, Stanley & wife Sherry Wellman; daughter, Iris & husband Shawn Beck all of LaCamp; brothers, L.E. Wellman & Slim Wellman both of Kirbyville, TX; sister, Myrtie Welch of Leesville; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
