Funeral services for Minnie Lou Thompson, 72, of Anacoco will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Cold Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, with Rev. Jackie Bonds and Rev. Ken Dickerson officiating. The burial will follow in the McInnis Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana. Friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2009, until service time on Wednesday, in the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Minnie passed away, Sunday, May 24, 2009 at her residence in Anacoco; she was a life long resident of Vernon Parish. She was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She was the best grandmother children could have.
She was preceded in death by her son Dennis Thompson; brother Elmer McInnis and parents Johnny & Flora McInnis.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of 51 years Donnie Thompson of Anacoco, Louisiana; son Danny G. Thompson (wife Gwen) of Anacoco, Louisiana; daughter Chris D. Clark (husband Kevin) of Hornbeck, Louisiana; brother C.D. McInnis of Anacoco; sister Betty Perkins (husband, Jerald) of Anacoco, Louisiana and grandchildren Shawn Thompson, Christopher Clark and Krystal Clark.
