Minerva LeBlanc Marshall's Obituary
Minerva, the daughter of Kate Margaret and Francis Belazaire LeBlanc, was born on May 19, 1929 in LeBlanc, Louisiana. She passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder, LA.
Minerva graduated from Dry Creek High School. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in DeRidder where she was a member of the Aldersgate Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Rosemary Cady and Mary Martha Circles. Minerva was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her son Roderick L. Marshall (Cindy) of Atlanta, GA, daughters, Renee’ Marshall of Boston, MA, Nancy M. Legendre (Reggie) of Lake Charles, LA, Kathy R. Marshall of Lafayette, LA, Susan Reed (Reggie) of DeRidder, LA; her sister, Audrey Phillips of Monticello, AR; six grandchildren, Marshall Richard, Katie Governale, Allyson Littell, Katherine Marshall, Caitlyn Reed, Quinton Reed; great grandchildren, Luke Governale, Ryan Governale, Jack Littell and Radley Littell.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston or Sulphur, LA.
Burial will follow the service in the Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
