Milford Jay Lacy's Obituary
Funeral services for Milford Jay Lacy, 68, of Merryville, LA, will be held at 10 AM., Monday, June 15, 2009, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, with Rev. Wayne Kite officiating. Burial will follow in New Camp Ground Cemetery in Sugartown, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will be from 4 P.M., until 9 P.M., Sunday, June 14, 2009, and from 9 A.M. until service time, Monday, June 15, 2009, all in Labby memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Mr. Lacy passed away Friday, June 12, 2009, in his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Sugartown and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Panama. He was a retired watermelon and soybean farmer and a member of VFW Post 3619 in DeRidder.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Yvonne Lacy of Westlake, LA; son, Lloyd Douglas Lacy of Westlake, LA; two daughters, Annette Bagley (Rick) of Westlake, LA, and Laurie Williams (Ronnie) of Merryville, LA; brother, Charles Lacey of Oberlin, LA; sisters, Eva Tunks of Sulphur, LA, and Linda Baggett of Bundick Lake, LA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
