Michael "Mike" Lee Boozer's Obituary
Michael "Mike" Lee Boozer, 67, passed away peacefully and comfortably at his home in Leesville, Louisiana, on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, bringing a sense of closure and peace to all who knew him.
Mike was born September 9, 1957, in South Carolina, to his beloved parents, Ralsa and Sarah Boozer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralsa Boozer and Sarah Margaret Boozer, and his wife, Carol Stillwell Boozer.
He is survived by his life partner, Rita McCombs, of Leesville, Louisiana; his daughter, Stephanie Stillwell Burns, and husband Scott, of Moravian Falls, North Carolina; granddaughters who were the joy of his life, Lauren Burns and wife Molly of Moravian Falls, North Carolina, and Brittany Burns Blevins and husband Wesley of Moravian Falls, North Carolina; and great-grandchildren Liam, Claire, Lilly, and Theo: five fur babies, Brutus, Rocky, Blue, Baby and Chewy by his side. His love for his family was a source of warmth and joy.
The celebration of life will be a time to share memories, stories, and laughter in honor of Mike. It will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Chapel of Leesville, 601 S. Fourth St., Leesville, LA 71446. We encourage you to join us in celebrating Mike's life.
