The passing of Boomer just breaks my heart. We were all looking forward to his annual Oklahoma trip for thanksgiving holiday week. He always brought plenty of Cajun foods and of course Sausage and Bacon. Lots of both. Lol. He would bring little Zeppelin and he played outside by the campfire day and night. It was truly a full week of fun with family and friends. I can still hear his laughter around the fire pit. So sorry he did not get to visit again this year but we are not in control. We loved Boomer. ❤❤

He was a great man. I have known him since I was a little kid. When I was in kindergarten, Boomer came to Pickering Elementary School and gave me a basket of candy and other things for my birthday. He was a family friend and will be missed greatly.

I am sorry for your family's loss. I went to school with Micah in Oberlin and he was always a positive person to be around. We will continue to pray for his family and I know he is in a better place now resting in peace. May God bless you all!

Boomer was one of my favorite customers at the country store! He was very kind and supportive of peoples dreams. Always an encouragement to keep chasing my yoga dreams! Every time he stopped in, we had lots of laughs and he always put a smile on my face!

Being a radio personality he could never know how many lives he has touched...we met Boomer during Rita and have been fans ever since...Boomer lived and shared his life on the air...he has been a welcome guest in our home for the last 14 years...we have been there with him thru the worst and the best of it...he is and always will be family to us...alarms have been set to make sure we never miss a visit with him...never being a sports type person we have learned much from him as we would tune into hear HIS broadcasts when otherwise there would have been no interest...all of this, and all we have been thru together he would not recognize either my wife or myself if we were to walk up to him to shake his hand or give him a hug...I can only hope in some small way he knows how he has touched so many lives...people he will never know or meet...My BROTHER from another mother...you are loved and you are missed.
