Maysel Lea Duvall's Obituary
Funeral services for Maysel Lea Duvall, 95, of Simpson, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Simpson Baptist Church in Simpson with Rev. Jeremy Blocker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Simpson. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm - 9 pm, Friday, July 8th and then 9 am until service time Saturday, July 9th at the church.
Lea, the daughter of James and Deliah Cooley was born on December 10, 1915, in Simpson, LA. She passed away on Tuesday, July 5th, at her residence. She was a LVN and worked as a Medical Sitter. She attended Calcasieu Baptist and Simpson Baptist Churches.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Duvall, sister, Eileen Riley and brother, Sherman Cooley.
She is survived by two nieces, Carol DesRosiers and husband Ron Cramer of El Cajon, CA and Jan and husband Riley Nelson of Spring Valley, CA; nephew, Ronald and wife Rhetta Riley of Milton, TN; she had numerous great and great great nephews and nieces.
