Drew May Dowden's Obituary
Funeral services for Drew May Dowden, 82, of Leesville, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Craig Forque officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, February 11th from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Drew, the daughter of Jodie D. and Effie Simmons May was born October 3, 1932, in Fisher, Louisiana. She passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015, in Leesville, LA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Edward Dowden and great grandson, Devin Paul Boycher.
She retired after twenty years as a Teleprompter for Cable T.V. She was a member of First Baptist Church and member of the Pilot Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet Boycher of Leesville; sons, Jodie Dowden & Jerrell Dowden both of Leesville; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
