Maxine M. Cole's Obituary
Maxine M. Cole entered into rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 8 days, at the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital after a 2 ½ years of a long-fought battle with cancer. Maxine was born on Thursday, October 27, 1955 in Mineral Wells, Texas to Mel and Billie Sue Andrews Manuel.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at Dry Creek Cemetery with Rev. Don Barrett officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
Maxine was a kind, gentle, and giving person. She worked at the East Beauregard High School cafeteria where she retired after many years of service. In her spare time, she loved to work on puzzle books, sewing and crocheting, and loved her pets. Most of all she loved her family, especially her many nieces and nephews, to which all will miss her.
Maxine was a member of Dry Creek Bible Church.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 47 years, Larry Cole of Dry Creek, LA; brother, Frank Manuel and wife Paula of Lake Charles, LA; sisters, Betty Horton of Tickfaw, New Jersey, and Debra Smith and husband Danny of Mittie, LA.
Preceded in death by her parents, Mel and Billie Sue Manuel.
