Funeral services for Mary H. Walker, 78, of Leesville, LA will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Pentecostal Church in Leesville with Rev. John Burns, Rev. M.C. Green, Rev. Dale Mortenson, and Rev. Mark Christian officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28th from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and on Monday, March 1st from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville
Mary, the daughter of Floyd Jefferson and Nora Mae Weldon Hardcastle was born on September 8, 1931, in Florien, LA. She passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Walker, son James Daniel “Danny” Walker, Jr., daughter Judi Walker Dekarskey, parents Floyd & Nora Hardcastle, brother Jarvis Hardcastle, and sisters, Betty Prewitt & Katherine Hodnett.
She is survived by daughters, Dianne Page of Leesville, LA & Christie & husband, Steven Bishop of Leesville, LA brother James Paul, wife Molly Hardcastle of Conroe, TX, sisters, JoElla & husband, Bill Berger of Canton, Ohio & Pat & husband, Troy “Red” Nolen of Leesville, LA, nine grandchildren Holley Pechota O’Donnell, James Lewis “Jim” Pechota, Ami Denee’ Green, Brandon Page, Merissa Walker, Melissa Allen, Krista Corbitt, Jamie Bishop and Christopher Bishop and seven great grandchildren, Lauren Pechota O’Donnell, Austin Pechota, Meghann Pechota, Mason Green, Faith Green, Madison Page, and Jax Daniel Allen.
