Mary DeNice Suenkel's Obituary
Mary DeNice Ready Suenkel, 59, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in DeRidder, Louisiana. DeNice was born on April 9, 1963, in DeRidder, Louisiana to Gene and Goldie Honea Ready.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Dalton Isbell, pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at Hopewell Cemetery in Dry Creek. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder.
DeNice loved to be outdoors, and she loved to go fishing. She was a devoted “MiMi” to her four grandchildren, and she was loved by many. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Wesley Bennett and wife Kimber of Moss Bluff, Jordan Slaydon of DeRidder, and Emily Suenkel of Hornbeck; her four grandchildren, Braden Bennett, Karsyn Bennett, Logan Bennett, and Sutton Slaydon; sister, Elizabeth Miller of Lubbock, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Goldie Ready; two brothers, John Ready and Mike Ready; sister, Sally Powell.
