Mary "Anne" Meche's Obituary
Funeral services for Mary “Anne” Richard Meche, 75, of Leesville will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 3 pm at Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. James Kay officiating, the burial will follow in the Canaan Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, July 8, from 6 pm until 9 pm in the funeral home then 9 am until service time in the funeral home Saturday, July 9th.
Anne the daughter of Garland and Nettie Laughlin Richard was born on December 25, 1940 in Eunice, LA. She passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Leesville, Louisiana. Anne formerly worked for the Lyons Insurance Agency in Sulphur, LA and also Morris Insurance Agency in Leesville. Anne attended Victory Baptist Church on Highway 1211. She loved to hunt and fish. Anne was an active member of the American Legion Post 145 Auxillary and also a former member of the VFW Post 3106.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Holice Whittaker, Jr.
She is survived by her son: Kevin (wife, Kristal) Naquin of Pearland, TX; Grandchildren, Tyler Naquin, Brandon LeBoeuf and Tiffany Falgout Bergeron; great grandchildren, Alexa Rose and Andreya Bergeron.
The family is requesting that memorial donations be made to the Labby Memorial Funeral Home so to assist in funeral expenses.
