Mary Pauline Franks' Obituary
Mary Pauline Franks, 82, of DeRidder, LA, passed away Monday, May 10, 2010, at 4:30 A.M., in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder. Private graveside services will be held at Dry Creek Cemetery at 10 A.M., Wednesday, May 12, 2010, with Rev. Don Barrett and Rev. Sam Burchard officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M., Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in Dry Creek Bible Church in Dry Creek.
Pauline was born in Dry Creek, Louisiana, and lived most of her life in Lake Charles, Louisiana. For the last four years she was a resident of Westwood Manor Nursing Home in DeRidder. She was a lifelong member of Lake Charles Bible Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Chance of Moss Bluff, LA, Patty Duplechain and husband Dr. Randall of DeRidder, and Pam Flavin and husband Gary of Lake Charles; two sisters, Doris Hitefield and husband Bill, and Donna Wilson, both of Dry Creek; six grandchildren, Michelle Summers, Julie Vines, Carly Santa Ana, Courtney Dressler, Coy Duplechain, and Will Flavin; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, D. D. Franks, parents, Thomas and Jesse Wilson, and brother, Gerald Wilson.
