Mary McGraw Cavel's Obituary
Funeral services for Mary Priest McGraw Cavel, 69, of Leesville, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Simmons Cemetery in Jefferson, TX.
Friends may call Saturday, Feb 22nd from 5 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and then Sunday, Feb 23rd from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the chapel, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Mary was born in Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom the daughter of James and Ellen Donnelly; she passed away Feb 16th in her home in Leesville.
Mary was an Air Force spouse for over thirty years having faithfully stood by her husband James W. McGraw for 25 years for military service and married to him for a total of thirty three years. She was truly loved by all and had a welcoming and generous heart for she was always there “No matter when or no matter who”. She married to Mac Cavel for five years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband James W. McGraw her second husband, Mac Cavel and her step-son Richard Cavel.
She is survived by her sons, Robert McGraw & Elizabeth of El Paso, TX; step sons, David Cavel of Lawton, OK and Mike Cavel of Shreveport, LA; her daughter, Michel Bieniger; step daughters; Corinna Butler of Bandon, MS, Christine Moreland of Brandon, MS, Cindy Foster of Ft Lewis, WA and Kathy McKelvy of Little Rock, Arkansas; as well as “Loved As Her Own” ,Ross Moore of Houston, TX, Cody Locy of Leesville, Charles Warnky of Dallas, TX, Janie Lynn Henson and Chellie Armstrong of Dallas, TX and her brothers, John Donnelly of Ayr Scotland and Stewart Donnelly of Kilmarnock, Scotland and her 17 Grandchildren and as well as her multiple nieces ,nephews and cousins.
