Martha "Becky" Clark's Obituary
Martha Rebecca “Becky” (Chapman), 84, of Leesville, Louisiana passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 13, 1941, in Monroe, Louisiana to B.C. and Tessie Chapman.
“Becky” or “Mom” worked at the Transportation Motor Pool on Fort Polk for over twenty years. She found joy spending time with her family, playing in her flowerbed, feeding birds and the animals around the house. Martha was a member of Cooper Baptist Church and worked with the kitchen crew. Her quick wit, warmth, and sarcasm made strangers feel like old family friends.
She is preceded in death by her high school sweetheart CSM (Retired) Wiley M. Clark. Her brother CSM (Retired) Thomas and Thuy Berry and Son-in-Law Mark Brandlin.
Martha is survived by her daughters: Katrina Brandlin, Maria Bass (and husband Larry), Erika Ancar (and husband Keith) and Rebecca (and husband Michael) and Lena. She is also survived by her son: Van (and wife Carol). Grandchildren are as follows: Corey, Alyssa, Marcie, Meghan, Cushon (and wife Lydia) Cara (and husband Travis), Jess (and wife Jessica), Matthew (and wife Lacey), Joshua (and wife Beth), Kathyrn (and husband Micheal), Holly (and husband Michael), Rose (and husband Dylan), and Laura (and Boyfriend Hayden). Great-Grand Children are as follows: Hayden, Jackson, Ryan, Jordan, Colton, Aubree, Alaiyah, Archer, Adaline, Sterling, Adaline Clark, Beckam, Brinley, and Evangeline. Martha’s Niece Michelle (and husband Jay) and her cousin Junior Methvin.
Martha will be missed, but her legacy will live on through Strength, Humility, Integrity, and Tenacity.
The Pallbearers are: Larry Bass, Keith Ancar, Jess Trautmann, Micheal Bolshazy, Van Martin, and Cushon Gulla.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Cooper Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2nd from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
