Funeral services for Marla Lynn Dixon Blackmon, of Anacoco will be held at 10 am Saturday, February 25, 2017, at the Anacoco First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Cryer Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Fun Read Obituary
I truly hated to hear about Mrs. Blackmon's passing. Her husband, Bro. Bill preached my mother, Ruby Nichols, funeral at Big Hammock in Leander. She was so sweet and kind to myself and my family during this time. And she made the most amazing Gumbo!! Blackmon family, you are all in my prayers for healing and understanding. God bless you.

My heartfelt condolences to Marla's family. I grew up with Marla and we spent many a day hanging out as children playing. I haven't seen her in years but I know that she no doubt was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. A beautiful person resting in the arms of Jesus living life eternal.
