Marilyn Merchant's Obituary
Funeral services for Marilyn Ann Merchant, 49, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. Kennis P. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Self Cemetery in Leesville, LA under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 2 pm until service time, Tuesday, May 31st in the funeral home.
Marilyn, the daughter of L. J. and Helen Dowden was born on February 26, 1962 in Many, LA. She passed away on Saturday, May 28th at her residence in Anacoco, LA. She was preceded in death by her father & sister, Wanda Sue Delp. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Jim Merchant of Anacoco; two daughters, Jessica Nicole Holman of Ragley and Lynsea Lea Merchant of Anacoco; four brothers, two sisters and her mother Helen Dowden of Leesville.
