Marilyn J. Cook's Obituary
Funeral services for Marilyn J. Cook, 60, of Hornbeck, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015, the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Marilyn, the daughter of Huey and Peggy Turner, was born August 15, 1954, in Dyersburg, TN. She passed away on Monday, April 13, 2015, in Leesville.
Mrs. Cook worked as a bookkeeper for Vernon Community Action Center. For the last eleven years she and Mr. Willie put on the Easter Egg Hunt at the New Llano Park. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 367.
She was preceded in death by her father and brother, Jacky Turner.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Willie Cook of Hornbeck; son, Tommy Lynn Jones of Anacoco; mother, Peggy Turner of Tennessee and three grandchildren.
