Funeral services for Marie Powell will be held Thursday, January 21st at 10 am in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Rev. John Lewing officiating. Burial will be at the Florien Cemetery in Florien, under the Read Obituary
Dear Rhonda and family, so sorry to hear about this happening to your family. I remember your Mom from when she was married to Robert Powell. I also remember you and all of us having so many good times at Hornbeck School. My heart goes out to you Rhonda. To all my cousins who I love and miss, and to the Perkins family, Words cannot express how I am feeling at this time. Just know I am here for you all. I loved seeing her at the reunions and she was a wonderful mother and aunt. May God wrap his loving arms around each of you and give you the peace that will come in time.
Sorry to hear about grandma. Wish I could have spent more time with her. I am sending my love and prayers. I miss uncle Mike and aunt janice also . they were great people too.

Robert, Francis,Rhonda, and Ricky...so very sorry for this loss of Mom, Sister and Brother in law....Aunt Marie was a tough little Lady, my mom Irene loved her dearly and probably talked her ear off more than a few times....Her visits to mom were priceless...she always was uplifting...May God Bless and Hold y'all in his arms and I am sure she is rejoicing with him.....There will be a great reunion Day soon.Paul N
