Margot Jordan's Obituary
Funeral services for Margot Jordan, 76, of Leesville will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 24th at the Labby Memorial Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Gary Archbold officiating. The burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville. Friends may visit Monday, November 23rd from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and then Tuesday, 8:00 am until service time in the funeral home. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Jordan passed away on Saturday, November 21st at Byrd Regional Hospital in Leesville. Margot was the daughter of Heinrich and Susanne Kotter Stern and was born in Bad-Hersfeld, Germany. She was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Leesville. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had a passion for sewing and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, J. D. Jordan, daughter Sybille “Billie” Beckstrom and grandson, Michael Galliano.
She is survived by her sons; Jimmy and Cathryn Ann Jordan of Leesville and Jay & Misong Jordan of Rosepine; daughter, Vickie & Joe Green of Leesville; brother, Karl Wilhelm Stern of Germany; sister, Erika Thornton of Dixon, CA; Eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
