Funeral services for Mrs. Margie Poarch were held at 3:00 PM – Saturday, January 26, 2008 in the Prewitt’s Chapel Baptist Church in Hornbeck, LA
Burial followed in Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery in Hornbeck, LA
Margie Rene Poarch was born on the 28th day of December, 1925 in Peason, Louisiana, the daughter of James and Ollie Belle Powell. She went to be with the Lord on the 23rd day of January, 2008 in Leesville, Louisiana at the age of 82 years and 25 days.
Margie was a member of Hornbeck Bible Baptist Church. She retired from Broyles Clinic and Kurthwood Nursing Home where she worked as an LPN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Poarch and one brother, Jimmy Powell.
